What is confirmed about the platform
- PC only. The official FAQ says the global version "is currently being developed exclusively for PC platforms". There is no mobile, APK, or console version of AION 2 Global — see our mobile misconception page for the full explanation.
- Two official storefronts. Steam and NC's PURPLE launcher — see the download guide for both paths.
- Unreal Engine 5. Stated in the official store description; UE5 titles on PC commonly publish specs close to launch, which matches the missing table today.

The September 17–18 test ran the real client on Steam and PURPLE with pre-download open to everyone. A UE5 MMO streamable at that scale suggests a conventional modern PC target rather than exotic hardware — but that is inference, not evidence, and we label it as such.
