About AION 2 Classes — Unofficial Fan Database & Class Hub
Learn what AION 2 Classes is — an unofficial fan-made class decision hub for AION 2 Global by NC, with a transparent source-tag system, version discipline and correction channels.
About this site: AION 2 Classes (aion2classes.wiki) is an unofficial, fan-made class decision hub for AION 2 Global by NC (NCSoft). We are not the developers and have no affiliation with them — we are players building the resource we wished existed when we first searched for reliable AION 2 class information. We cover only the AION 2 Global service, entity-locked to Steam appid 3393110; the original AION (2008) is a different game, and the Korean and Taiwanese AION 2 services are separate — sites and projects with similar names are unrelated.
How We Handle Game Data
Fan databases live or die on trust, so every game-specific claim on this site carries a source tag that says where it came from:
- Platform API — data read directly from official public endpoints, such as Steam store metadata.
- Developer — statements from NC in official channels: the store page, the pre-release FAQ, Steam news posts and the official site.
- Footage — observed in official screenshots and gameplay video, frame by frame.
- Community — reported by players and creators across videos, discussions and search data, consistent across multiple sources where possible.
- Inferred — our own reasoning, clearly labeled as such.
Anything we could not verify is written as "(to be verified)" rather than guessed. Because AION 2 Global is pre-launch at the time of writing, class roster names and role tags are community-level and labeled as such; they upgrade the moment NC publishes official facts or Founder's Pack Advanced Access (September 30, 2026) makes verifiable testing possible. A build-time check enforces that every content page carries at least one source tag.
What You Will Find Here
- Classes — the all-classes hub plus eight class pages with roles, playstyles and fit.
- Decide — the best-class scenario framework and the tier-list methodology, with no invented ranks.
- Launch — the release timeline, pre-register guide, download paths, system requirements, platform facts and version comparison.
- Tools — the interactive AION 2 Class Finder, which filters all eight classes by role, range and playstyle.
The site is in English and covers the global version as its primary axis; version differences are handled in one comparison place rather than mixed into every page.
